Resembling a teardrop, this diamond is a hybrid between the marquise cut and the round brilliant.  Worn with the tip pointed towards the nail, the pear diamond can create the illusion of a long, slim finger.  Highly popular during the Renaissance period, the pear diamond displays sparkle from every angle with its 58 facets.

Oval Diamond Shape:

The heart shaped diamond is a brilliant cut and requires symmetrical lobes to form the heart shape.  It is basically a pear shape diamond with a cleft at the top.  Consisting of 59 facets, it sparkles with effortless elegance.

Asscher Diamond Shape:

Created in 1902 by the Asscher Brothers of Holland, the asscher diamond was designed to draw the eye into the diamond.  It is a square step cut that displays deeply cut corners that gives it an octagonal outline. Although the asscher cut may not be a popular traditional choice, it is still very fashionable and has gained recognition when it was featured on the show, “Sex and The City.”  With its 72 step facets, the asscher diamond is sure to glow with brilliance.
